Chainsaw Wood Carving
Autumn and Halloween mean chainsaw season. Most people use chainsaws for tree clearing and landscaping purposes but that’s not all they can do. In skilled and trained hands, chainsaws can be used to create many beautiful wood carvings and sculptures.
In America, the Stihl Pro Carving Team travel to agricultural shows and fairs, demonstrating their carving skills with Stihl chainsaws. In an article from the Delaware Gazette, by Gary Budzak Mike Pace, a member of the Stihl Pro Carving Team talks about chainsaw carvings and sculputures at the recent Delaware Fair.
Another American chainsaw carver Joshua Blewtt gives a great demonstration of using Stihl chainsaws to carve a face into a piece of wood

A word of warning though, chainsaw carving is not for amateurs. The professionals make it look easy as they have many years’ experience and training with these dangerous machines. It takes a lot of practice, training and skill to produce these beautiful sculptures. Do not attempt to copy the carvings unless you have been trained in chain saw safety and the correct way to operate these dangerous machines.
Chainsaw wood carvings are really masterpieces. And everyone who can create those products with powerful chainsaw are really professional people.
